The major objective of this course is not to memorize lists of facts but for you to become a historian (someone capable of understanding the past and documenting the past for others). In order to be a historian you will need to be able to do three things:

Making accurate and detailed observations of FACTS
On the back of your Observing Assignment:
1. Write down your earliest memory (paper provided)
2. Write down what history is using the word memory or memories.

HOMEWORK: Ordering Once you have made observations of facts, cast out irrelevant information it is time to put your information into some type of order.
